Manhattan Toy package markings: what they mean and how to recycle them

PAPER COLLECTION:

This indicates the package is made of mixed non-corrugated fiberboard or paperboard and can be recycled curbside if available. Check with your local municipality for recycling options.

(PP5)

PLASTIC BAGS:

This code is marked on plastic bags made of polypropylene. While plastic bags are not accepted in most curbside recycling programs, these plastic bags can be taken to local retailers who offer plastic bag recycling collection.

PAPER:

Single-use batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of along with household waste.

EU Customers: You are legally obliged to dispose of all flat batteries at a local authority collection point or to return them to a battery retailer. Tape off the contacts first.

Defective light bulbs must be disposed of in an environmentally-friendly way at a collection point for electrical waste.
