May the Shopping Begin!!

 
With Thanksgiving just behind us and Black Friday well underway, the shopping season is marked by several special days like Black Friday and Cyber Monday.  But one very important shopping day that we want to support and remind our fans and customers about is Small Business Saturday. Small Business Saturday is a wonderful national movement started a few years ago by American Express and has been growing in popularity each and every year.  In 2011, more than 100 million consumers turned out to support small businesses in their community.  Considering that small business accounts for an estimated 64% of new jobs, it's a cause that's well worth it. Our relationship with small business and independent toy retailers is very rewarding and enjoyable for us, so we hope that you will choose to participate in this year's Small Business Saturday and look for Manhattan Toy products at independent retailers in your community. Not sure where to find an independent toy retailer near you?  ASTRA (American Specialty Toy Retailing Association) does provide a store locator on their website to help you locate their member stores.  However, not all independent toy retailers are members, so the list may not include stores in your community.  American Express also provides a store search tool on their website. However you find an independent toy retailer in your community, grab the kids and your shopping buddy and get out there on Small Business Saturday.
