Sneak Peak at NY Toy Fair

NY Toy Fair is coming up this week and it is one of the biggest events for us each year, if not THE biggest. Planning for this event takes several months. Read more below for a small glimpse at what our design team has been hard at work sketching and scheming for our new booth look! The 113^th North American International Toy Fair takes place in New York February 13^th – 16^th at Javits Center on Manhattan’s west side. But it’s not open to the general public. This show is for toy industry folks, manufacturers and retailers alike, all excited to see the latest in toys. It attracts media from all over the globe! We’ll be showcasing 95 new toy introductions, which you can shop for here. We’ll even be unveiling some never-before-seen new products during Toy Fair like the robot above - his name is Beep or this Playful Pony. The night before Toy Fair kicks off is when the TOTY Awards take place, where the year’s finest toys and games are honored. This year, Bob Iger, President and CEO of The Walt Disney Company, will be inducted into the Toy Industry Hall of Fame. Then on Monday, day 3 of Toy Fair, we’ll be attending the annual Toy Safety Update hosted by the Toy Industry Association, where Manhattan Toy learns all the latest updates on important changes in state, federal and international toy safety requirements. And finally day 4 comes and as the sun is setting at Javits, we take stock of another fun-filled time in the Big Apple as we pack everything back up and head home to Minneapolis - the "Mini-Apple" So, if you’re making your way to Toy Fair this February, stop by our booth #2119 and say hello.
